A group of Japan Indonesia Oil Co. (JIO), Kobe Steel., Ltd., Ishikawajima-
Harima Heavy Industries Co., Taisei Corp. and McDermott Inc. of the United 
States will receive an order from Indonesia for a liquefied petroleum gas 
(LPG) plant worth 150 million dollars, the Nihon Keizai said.

The project, promoted by Indonesia's state-run oil company, Pertamina, 
evisages liquefying gas produced from offshore oil fields near Jakarta 
and exporting it to Japan.  The group plans to set up a joint venture with 
an Indonesian capital in order to raise the local capital participation ratio in
the project.
