Mikrokosmos Ontology Path Finder: Checking Semantic Constraints
Go to the Ontology Browser to find concept names.
Search for relationships between concepts in the Mikrokosmos Ontology to determine how well Concept1 meets the
constraint on Concept2.
Returns a score between 0 and 1 and a path from Concept1 to Concept2 in the ontology:
No Path:
If either Concept1 or Concept2 is not a concept in the ontology, returns a score of 0.0.
Taxonomic Path:
If Concept1 is a descendent of Concept2, a perfect score of 1.0 is returned and
no path is shown.
Relation Paths: Otherwise, a score between 0.1 and 1.0 and a path through
one or more relations is shown. If there is a path with a score less than
the built-in threshold of 0.1, a 0.0 score and no path are returned.
