ARL Advanced Decision Atrchitectures workshop (25-27th February)

Ogden attended the ARL Advanced Decision Atrchitectures
workshop held on February 25-27.
In this workshop, Bill Ogden presented a poster session about the CRL project, Computer Mediated
Multilingual Collaboration. This project involves evaluation of a trans-lingual instant
messaging system interface designed to help partners communicate using their own languages
with the help of machine translation technology and good user interface design. One of the
goals of the CMMC project is to discover tasks expected to be accomplished with this technology, and
to determine ways in which to help users correct and repair misunderstandings in their automatically
translated communications.
