Since my friends bag was open the entire ride there is no telling where it is but it is probably somewhere in the vicinity of the cathedral. If found, can you please call 575-680-6539 and I can make arrangements to get it from you.You can also drop it off at Outdoor Adventures and let them know it belongs to Ryan McLaughlin. Thanks. There were 4 of us. Ron, Chet, George Alvas (sp.?) and myself. We worked in teams of two. Chet and myself on one team and Ron and George on the other. We leap frogged ourselves northward: trimming the white thorn, regrading some of the eroded downhill sections and Ron and George put in a short reroute with help courtesy of the trail gnomes. Our job was made much easier because someone or someones had come in and done a lot of work before us. For that I am very grateful and wish to thank those who have done maintenance on the trail. We made it all the way up to the first road crossing as you head north from Bishop's Cap trailhead. Next month, we will do a short reroute just south of there. The trail is ditched to where in a couple of years from now, your pedals will hit the sides if something isn't done about it. We will work ourselves north a trimming and repairing and soon Sierra Vista will be like new again. Mike Lorimer Las Cruces Rim Rattlers PS I paid the IMBA dues for this year. We would like to try a battery powered hedge trimmers to see if it could speed up the process. Do any of you guys have one we could try? I'm sure we could buy one, but I'd like to see if it would work first. Thanks to others who been working on the trails! Call me if you can loan some clippers. We're going to work on Nadas Tomorrow.
