We need one more push to trim the white thorn from the 'windmill' to the gate. We also need to work on a couple of wash crossings in that area. It is a big job, but if we can get a decent number of workers to help out, we can finish it. Come put in a couple of hours for the trail. You ride it. You enjoy it. Four of us showed up for a trimming and dirt session. A lot of the white thorn were trimmed back and some improvements in the wash crossings were made. There is a new water bar on one of the steeper crossings (that has been getting highly eroded over the years) that will be a bit soft for a while until it gets packed down. So be careful. Most of the trail is very rideable now. I would like to thank all those who participated in the maintenance rides and to the other trail gnomes who have worked on Sierra Vista and other trails in the area, I appreciate all of the hard work that you have done.
