The above generation lexicon entries are the primary knowledge sources used in
the generation process
. Five different types of constraints are
automatically generated which constrain the combinations of entries allowed to
globally realize a semantic input. The Mikrokosmos control mechanism
efficiently processes constraints to produce optimal global answers.
