Events

Events can be lexicalized into simple Nouns (Figure 3) and into Verbs or Nominalized Verbs (complex Noun) (Figure 4). This built-in transcategoriality (where an event can potentially be lexicalized as either a Noun or a Verb) is a very natural aspect of our approach to lexicon design, which allows for paraphrases in generation.
