I am a computer specialist and research analyst at CRL, my responsibilities include development and maintenance of software and tools supporting multilingual translation (Meat, the Multilingual Environment for Advanced Translations), IE, and IR systems.
Meat is a modular, component-oriented MT system that we use to translate from and to several languages (Persian, Turkish, Spanish, Arabic, etc.) to English. See the Meat homepage for more information.
